Adelaide has been called the City of Churches, and for good reason. The oldest church in the city, the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, was built in 1838, and as the population of the city grew, so did the amount of churches.
Another interesting architectural highlight of Adelaide is its collection of glasshouses. Some of the largest and oldest glasshouses in the Southern hemisphere can be found in the Adelaide Botanic Garden. Among these are the Bicentennial Conservatory, which is the biggest single span glasshouse in the Southern hemisphere (measuring 100 metres in length, 47 metres in width and 27 metres in height) as well as the oldest glasshouse in the Southern hemisphere, the palm house, which was imported from Bremen in Germany in 1875. The palm house is said to be the only Victorian glasshouse of its type in the world.

No locked in contracts or anything, and by the end of the following day, a suitable candidate called me. All this for free! I got along with the real estate agent and he understood my situation; he sold my property without complications and the price it sold for exceeded my expectations.’Read Less
